A delegation from Tianjin Jinghai district visited Alibaba global headquarters in Hangzhou on Feb 17 to promote cooperation between the Tuanbo town of Jinghai and Alibaba．

The two parties were intent to seek cooperations in the areas  of rural governance， e－commerce， talent training， digital agriculture， digital economy， cultural and tourism integration． They were focused on building a livestreaming e－commerce town in Tianjin and a digital economy industrial park．

The team－up effort is expected to transform Tuanbo into an agricultural， rural as well as an industrial economy． The goal is to encourage the extensive use of digital technology in rural areas to improve agriculture production and rural life．

Jinghai district moved up to second place on the Tianjin 2022 business environment index， which is seven places higher than its 2020 and 2021 ranking．

Tuanbo town and Alibaba will promote in－depth integration of digital technology and industrial chains in a bid to expand and complete the industrial development in Jinghai．

Cong Jie， general manager of the Alibaba Strategic Development Department of Tianjin－Hebei region， said that Alibaba would combine high－quality development in digital villages in Tuanbo with Alibaba’s strategic development directions．

In the future， Tuanbo town＇s all－round and in－depth cooperation with Alibaba＇s business ecological system will set a new benchmark in the construction of digital villages．
